I'm having trouble opening a cap!Updated 3 years ago
If you're having trouble with the flow of oil from a bottle and you suspect it has a flow regulator, here are some steps you can try:
- Hold the bottle upright and ensure the cap is securely closed.
- Gently tip the bottle downward to an angle where the oil should naturally pour out.
- Give the bottle a firm but controlled shake in a downward motion, similar to shaking a ketchup bottle. This action may help release the flow regulator.
- If the bottle has a separate cap and flow regulator, make sure to shake the bottle with the cap on to maintain pressure.
- Observe if the flow regulator pops open and allows the oil to pour. You may need to shake it a few times or with varying intensity to achieve the desired flow.
